What? You are doing a 30 Day Ultimate Blog Challenge? Yep! Today is Day 1!
Have you ever had those times, when all the pieces start to line up, and the project starts to
This may sound very weird since we are in the dark COVID-19 times, but I have been clear that I wanted to dust off my blogs and start sharing what I’m learning with the world.
First, I knew that I needed to improve my writing skills, and I needed to update my blog. Two big show stoppers.
Have you ever been there before? When you knew what you wanted, but the “getting there” part just seemed to be out of reach?
How did I deal with this “show stopper” challenges?
I needed to move my blog.
I knew that not a surprise, but, because it was unknown, and I wasn’t sure – fear of the unknown maybe – it took a while. Ok, it took me about a year to get around to moving it! No judgment!
About the writing?
The other big show stopper? I have been taking Marie Forleo’s Copy Cure writing class. What is one of the many things I love about her class? You can repeat it! Yes, she calls us “Alumni’s”. I’m on my third time through – somehow life always seems to get in the way before I can finish! One day, I will make it all the way through the class, in one season!
Did you read that email?
You know how you glance through the overwhelming amount of emails in your inbox, and
you see an email, that you had thought about before, maybe even signed up to “do the thing” then never saw the “thing” again, or opened the prompting emails?
That’s how I have been in the past with these blog challenges. Always thought they were a good idea and one day, that would help motivate me to start writing and posting (I have a ZILLION ½ half-written stories!) my blogs.
Friend, here we are. Day 1 of the 30-day Ultimate Blog Challenge.
I invite you to come along for the ride, and I look forward to hearing your comments, and feedback so I can improve my storytelling, my writing, my sharing with you, my reader, blogs that hopefully you will enjoy, and will be informational.
Now, if only I could get my contact form to play nice with ACT! My database program!
